Reporting a wrong or outdated figure

City figures change: fares rise, fuel prices move, tax rules are updated. If you spot one that’s wrong, please include:

• the city and the figure, for example “Toronto, transit fare”;
• what you think it should be; and
• a link to a source, ideally the agency or an official publication.

Privacy questions

The calculator doesn’t send the numbers you type to us, so in most cases there’s nothing for us to delete: clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them. For questions about advertising cookies or anything else to do with privacy, see the privacy policy or email us.

What we can’t help with

We can’t give personal financial, tax or legal advice, or tell you which job to take. The calculator is there to help you work through the numbers yourself.
