These terms apply to your use of realwage.io and the Real Wage Calculator. By using the site, you agree to them.

What the site provides

Real Wage provides a calculator and articles that estimate what a job pays per hour once tax, commuting, job costs and unpaid time are taken into account. The site is free to use and needs no account.

Estimates, not advice

Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and on average figures for each city. They’re provided for general information only and aren’t financial, tax, legal or career advice. Don’t rely on them as the only basis for a decision, and check anything important with a qualified professional.

Accuracy of figures

City figures come from third-party sources and carry the date they were collected. They may be incomplete, go out of date, or differ from your own circumstances. We try to keep them accurate but can’t guarantee that every figure is correct or current.

Using the site

You may use the calculator for personal or professional purposes. Please don’t try to disrupt the site, access it in ways that put an unreasonable load on it, or use it for anything unlawful.

What you share

Share links and images contain the numbers you entered, and job names if you choose to include them. You’re responsible for what you share and who you share it with. Don’t share other people’s personal information without their permission.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, code and written content belong to Zohair Razvi. You’re welcome to share your results and share images, and to quote short passages with a link back to the site. The public data the site uses belongs to its original publishers, who are credited where it appears.

Links and advertising

The site links to third-party websites, including the sources of its figures, and may show ads served by third parties. We aren’t responsible for the content or practices of other websites or advertisers.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its results, including decisions about employment, pay or where to live. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
